When practicing your handwriting, make sure you are holding the pencil properly with a “frog legs grip”, the pencil should be held with your thumb and first (index) finger, the other fingers should be tucked up underneath.
Make sure that you are sitting comfortably, with your feet flat on the floor and make sure that your table and work are a good height, use a cushion to lift you up a little if you need to.
This week we return to writing the days of the week. As well as writing these, it is important that we now know hoe to spell them. Once you have completed the handwriting activity, can you cover the words and write them without looking at them? Have a go, the more you practise the more confident you will become at spelling the days of the week!
Have a go at Saturday and Sunday too, they can be sounded out.

Exploring different ways to use your voice
In this lesson, we will be learning lots of different ways to use our voice and decide which voice is best for a particular song.
